My name is Rob and I love camping, hiking, and attempting to capture the natural world with a camera.

This website is meant to be a guide for anyone planning a visit to a national park in the western United States. It is based on my own experiences which I admit are limited - but it includes everything I know and everything I wish I knew prior to visiting. Links throughout this website are to: official park websites, recreation.gov (which is where all national park advanced camping reservations and hiking/climbing permits can be obtained), and supporting blogs/websites for hike details. I am working to keep this website as current as possible and I will continue to update it with new insights and new parks.
